The “historical residence Barbini” it is situated near the main square of Castiglione del
Lago, marked among the most beautiful village of Italy. The building dates at the end
of 1400, and it has had a first meaningful restoration at the beginning of the 1900,
until to reach the actual restoration, in 2005, with the realization of three suites and
four apartments, inaugurated on the occasion of the film set realized by the “Italian
International Film” giving hospitality to actors having a national and international
reputation: Stefania Sandrelli, Richi Tognazzi, Barbara D’Urso and the directors
Rossella and Simona Izzo, that have marked the beginning of this new idea. In the
rooms and in the living-rooms, furnished with original furniture, it is possible still to
breathe the atmosphere and the charm of other times that it will involve you and will
make you live your holidays hovering between past and present.
